Designed and manufactured by the famous Lu Yu Art Institute in Taipei, Taiwan, the "Wishing Well" teacup and saucer is available exclusively from TenRen. Lu Yu pieces are known for their outstanding attention to the fit and finish of the piece and are baked at a higher temperature for higher quality.
The Lu Yu Wishing Well tea cup with matching saucer is made from purple clay and is designed to go with the miniature purple clay Yixing tea pots. Certain distinctive features of this cup are its rim and its three legged base. Inside, the cup is lined with white porcelain, which enables one to enjoy the hue of the tea. One of these cups holds about 1.5 ounces (40 ml) of tea with a diameter of 2 3/8 inches (6.2 cm) and height of 1 3/8 inches (3.5 cm). The saucer has a diameter of 3 1/8 inches (8 cm). Shipping weight is 0.3 lb.
